GARETH SYKES – DIRECTOR

Gareth has been involved in Sports Merchandise since 1991, when as promotor of the European Masters Swimming Championships, he saw the value in event merchandise. Since then, his experience includes negotiating and seeing through merchandise contracts as a licensor, licensee, event venue merchandiser and wholesaler. Previous commercial partners include Australian Rugby Union, Welsh Rugby Union, RFU, British & Irish Lions, 6 Nations, Football Association, The Grand National, British Olympic Association, Asian Football Confederation, Swimming Australia, Swimming Queensland, Swimming New South Wales, FINA, World Rowing, World Masters Athletics and all the current Team Elite commercial partners. Gareth Swam for Great Britain for six years, competing at the World and European Swimming Championships. He also attended the University of Florida and University of California, Berkeley on Swimming Scholarship, the latter of which, he is a graduate. Gareth is also a director of Team Elite companies in the UK, France, USA & NZ, as well as Great Barrier Reef Ocean Swims.

NICOLE FROLING – OPERATIONS & EVENTS MANAGER

Nicole is at the heart of the day to day operation of Team Elite's Event and online sales programmes. She is responsible for the core operations of Team Elite’s events – collation of stock, equipment, staff and displays, through to set-up and operation of Team Elite’s venue merchandising. Nicole’s experience includes the operation of the 2016 World VA’A Sprint Championship Merchandise Superstore held on the Sunshine Coast and multiple National, State, and Regional Events across Australia ever since. Nicole is a multiple medallist at the Australian Age National Swimming Championships and also a director of Great Barrier Reef Ocean Swims.

SIMONE HARRISON - SALES ADMINISTRATOR - SWIMMING

Simone, originally a customer of Team Elite, has been with the company since April 2017. Simone's role is as Sales Administrator covering off all our extensive swimming related accounts Queensland, NSW, NT, WA and New Zealand (in excess of 1,000 wholesale clients.) helping with enquiries, collating artwork and quotations and assisting seeing orders through to completion. As a swimming mother of three and previous Swimming Club officer, she is uniquely well suited to assist and understands the landscape of the swimming fraternity.

FIONA McCARROLL - SALES ADMINISTRATOR - SURF LIFE SAVING & SOUTHERN STATES

Fiona is responsible for sales across the States of Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania. Fiona has worked within the sports industry for over 20 years. Over this period she has developed extensive knowledge across many sports, from community level through to large National Sporting Bodies. Her experience in sport has been further developed by playing sport at a State level, and more recently undertaking volunteer roles within community sporting organisations. As Team Manager of State Squads and the Event Director of a National Championship event, Fiona understands sporting apparel, merchandise and the awards needs of sport.

APRIL PRETORIUS – ADMIN OFFICER & SALES SOUTHERN STATES

April, has been with the company since August 2019. April's roles are both looking after company day to day administration and one of our Sales Administrators covering off all our Southern State accounts in Victoria, South Australia, and Tasmania (in excess of 300 wholesale clients.) As a sporting mother of four and previous Club officer, she is uniquely well suited to assist and understands the landscape of the sporting fraternity.

DAVID REID - CORPORATE SALES

Heading up Corporate Sales, David brings thirty three years worth of experience in the corporate world, most specifically within the world of travel. David looks after all enquiries in relation your Company Apparel, Promotional Products and Marketing Goods. David won the Scottish Blue Bell Enterprise Class in 1982 and is an avid sailor, recently delivered two yachts, one being Adelaide - Sydney and the other Brisbane - Whitsundays.

REMI SAWTELL – SALES ADMINISTRATOR

Remi looks after our general sporting sales, from Rugby, through Dragon Boat and Paddling Sports, to Gyms and Gymnasiums. He has six years experience in all aspects of our merchandise operation. Remi is a former student of Nudgee College and plays for Brothers Rugby Club in Brisbane.

MEGAN BARR - GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Megan joined Team Elite in November 2020, having previous work experience with Game Clothing and Inferno Clothing. Megan's extensive experience includes a lot of work on sublimated garments and that takes up a lot of her work with Team Elite.

EVENT STAFF 

Team Elite has a strong force of casual staff that join the company to help ensure our events work well and professionally. Too many to list here, but we enjoy great relationships with staff all over Australia and New Zealand, noticeably from several sporting organisations, including Kawana Swimming Club, Hamilton Rowing Club, Norwood Swimming Club, TAS Swimming Cairns, Swimming New South Wales, Williamstown SLSC and others.
