Team Elite Major Sponsor Of Great Barrier Reef Ocean Swim Series

In its first official year, The Great Barrier Reef Ocean Swim Series (GBROSS) kicked off over the weekend, on September 4th. Team Elite Merchandise acts as the major sponsor of the series and is pleased that the first swim of the series was a success!

Director and founder of GBROSS, Gareth Sykes, was happy with the day out on the reef and the opportunity to host the event, stating, "despite unexpected windy conditions, the sun was shining and the smiles were wide...it was great to see these ocean swimmers enjoy everything that the great barrier reef has to offer and take advantage of this wonder of the world".

Liesel Jones OAM was in attendance, and as an offical event ambassador was mingling with competitors and to ensure their day was as enjoyable as possible.

Next up is the "Challenge" swim and "Swim the Reef" coming up next month on October 22. Team Elite is excited to sponsor this event going forward and urges avid swimmers to take the opportunity to swim the reef!
