Electronic Gaming Machine (EGM) Safety Covers* are quickly becoming a necessity for licensed venues around Australia if they are to comply with new social distancing measures. With Team Elite’s extensive experience in research and development of customised products, we have fast tracked the design of this unique but essential product to help the gaming industry comply with step 3 of Australia’s COVID-19 re-opening plan.
With social distancing set to be an ongoing necessity, only every other Electronic Gaming Machine (EGM or Pokies to you and I) will be available for use, leaving an “unusable” machine in between every active machine. This creates some problems for venue owners. Obviously it is impractical to move the inactive machines but their exposed buttons and visible presence means customers may become confused about what is available for them to use, or they might insist that they want to play their “lucky” machine. Exposed, inactive machines also require ongoing deep cleaning and simply placing a sign or roped off area would be unsightly. With all of this in mind, Team Elite have developed an EGM Safety Cover* as an easy solution in clarifying which machines are unavailable, while offering the venue a low cost solution and promotional, branding opportunities.
“The covers can be plain to suit your decor, printed with venue logos, ads and information, or come in sublimated fabric with unlimited colour/design options with an all over print. The products will be available by the end of May and we are taking orders immediately. To ensure you are ready to open once step 3 is given the green light, we suggest you get in ASAP.” ~ Gareth Sykes
